BECOME A REFEREE
Being a soccer referee can be both rewarding and fulfilling, whether for a young person learning responsibility or an adult contributing to the sport. Susquehanna SC provides referee training and development in our recreational soccer leagues. We also provide opportunities for motivated referees to get further referee education to be able to ref in travel leagues, tournaments and amateur leagues.
Referees must have soccer rule understanding and need to evolve with the game to stay effective and relevant. The priorities of a referee are:
1. Protecting the safety of players.
2. Consistent and standard application of the Laws of the Game.
Refereeing reinforces the protection of these core values and the betterment of the game through the development of referees.
